Many have asked me this simple question. “How have you gotten your business to be so successful.” Although I won’t share all of my success. I will go ahead and give you a business tip.

Our business runs a simple journey for all our clients including for our business. This Journey is called the customer value journey. This is how we can navigate our prospects/clients to invest money in our services and/or upgrade.

What does this journey look like? Well, let’s dive in!

There are 8 stages of the journey.

  1. Awareness
  2. Engage
  3. Subscribe
  4. Convert
  5. Excite
  6. Ascend
  7. Advocate
  8. Promote

Each stage is where your customer/prospect is located.



In this stage, we are trying to get as many people to know about your business as possible. This is where we run ads, post on social media, even network.

What does this look like for Advent Trinity?

  • Networking
  • Facebook Ads
  • Send Out Cards
  • Cold Emails
  • Cold Calls
  • Instagram Ads

And the list goes on. We want to be in front of as many people as possible with the right content and the right time.


In this stage, we are wanting people to stop what they are doing and pay attention to our ads. What are the results of this?

  • Call Backs
  • Email Back
  • Schedule Appointment
  • Instagram Likes

The more people engage the more interested they are. The nice thing about this is you can then use the “like” list to reach out to potential customers. Have you ever reached out to people liking your posts on social media?


Once your prospect falls into the follower’s list than you have quality leads for your business. A prospect signs up for the following:

  • Seminar
  • Live Event
  • Follow FB Page
  • Follow Instagram Page

In this stage of the journey, we can stay in front of high-quality leads. Have you ever thought that maybe your Facebook followers are high-quality leads?


Most business owners fall short in this stage of the journey. They only want to focus on new sales instead of nurturing those who have already bought the business service/product. What are some examples of exciting a client?

  • Thank you cards

In business, this is where it gets fun. You have lots of clients that have bought small packages or entry-level products. Now it’s time to get them to ascend. What does this look like?

Look at that, you are getting clients to spend more or more frequently.

You can nurture this with Social Media, Email Campaigns, and more!


In this stage of the game, your client is now satisfied. So, they decide to become your business advocates. They go on Google and give you a review. Share your Facebook Page to their timeline. They say nothing but good things about your business. This then leads to the final stage.


Congratulations! You now have received a FREE Sales Person. Isn’t that great? This is where the client willingly starts to sale your business for you. Talk about FREE money!

You see our success is simple and it hasn’t changed with any business we have worked with. Sure marketing is different for all companies. But, the journey is the same for all.
